How Credentials Are Held

FireCoatings.co.uk is a trading style of NuColour Ltd. Company memberships and assessments are held by NuColour Ltd, while individual qualifications belong to the named people who hold them.

Competence and Training

Training, Memberships and Workforce Competence

Our company memberships and role-specific qualifications support safe, professionally managed delivery. Each credential has a defined purpose and does not, by itself, certify an intumescent-coating installation.

Role-Relevant NVQ Qualifications

Relevant team members hold NVQ qualifications connected with their actual management, supervisory or trade roles. Individual qualifications do not certify the complete company or an installation.

SMSTS-Trained Personnel

Personnel holding current SMSTS certification may be assigned where site-management responsibilities require that level of training.

NEBOSH-Qualified Support

Personnel holding relevant NEBOSH qualifications support the company’s health-and-safety arrangements within their actual competence and responsibilities.

IPAF-Trained MEWP Operators

Operatives holding the appropriate current IPAF category are assigned where mobile elevating work platforms are used within their authorised role.

CHAS Elite Membership

NuColour Ltd holds CHAS Elite membership, subject to its current certificate and assessment status. This supports contractor prequalification but does not certify intumescent coating design or installation.

Applying Competence to Each Project

Personnel are selected according to the activities, equipment, access and supervision required for the project. Qualifications are considered alongside experience, task knowledge and site-specific briefing.

Maintaining Role-Relevant Competence

Training, briefings and competence reviews are arranged according to role, project activity and identified need. Qualification expiry dates are monitored where continued validity is required.
