Substrate condition, preparation, application areas and visible coating condition may be recorded at defined inspection points, supported by photographs and measurements where agreed.
WFT readings are taken while the coating is wet and compared with the application target. They help control wet coating build but do not replace final DFT inspection.
Relevant ambient, substrate, humidity and dew-point information may be recorded and compared with the selected product’s application requirements.
Product names, batch information and supporting manufacturer documents can be linked to application dates and work areas where this forms part of the agreed QA plan.
The handover can state the system components and areas completed by FireCoatings against the accepted project information. It is not certification of the building or fire design.
The agreed records are compiled for review by the client and relevant project parties. Acceptance, regulatory approval and final sign-off remain with the appropriate dutyholders and authorities.

Supporting information for building-control review
Product and application information for insurer or warranty review
