What You’ll Be Doing

As an apprentice, you’ll be trained in all aspects of fire protection and specialist coatings, including:

• Assisting with the preparation of steelwork for fire protection
• Supporting the application of intumescent and protective coatings
• Learning safe use of tools, equipment and access systems
• Understanding site safety, quality standards and compliance requirements
• Working alongside experienced operatives on live construction sites
• Attending college as part of your apprenticeship programme
  

You’ll gain hands-on experience while developing the technical knowledge required to progress into a skilled trade role.
